- The Layer-2 solution for (SHIB) is in the beta phase.
- Shytoshi Kusama confirmed Shibarium is coming “very soon.”

As the SHIB Army continued its wait for Shibarium, one handy member of the Shiba Inu community took it a step further and opened a social networking website. The member, who goes by the name SHIB Dream, launched the ShibArmy.VIP social network. The user-friendly interface lets any registered user follow the most prominent members of the SHIB community, follow hashtags, and even look for job opportunities.

SHIB Burn Rate Sparks Up 105%
SHIB Dream also revealed that Android and iOS apps are coming as soon as January 2023. The SHIB Army VIP App will serve as a gateway for community events, news, and other activities.
The news from SHIB Dream ignited SHIB’s burn rate back up, similar to when Shytoshi Kusama announced plans to reveal his identity.
Hence, the SHIB burn rate has shot up by 105.67% since yesterday. Beyond that, Shibburn calculated that the Shiba Army set 83,347,071,504 SHIB tokens ablaze in 2022. Ultimately, that equals a whopping $684,040.70.

The end of last year had a lot going on for the SHIB Army. Namely, the success of the Shiba Eternity card game and the newly-launched version of the official SHIB token website. As Shibarium is still in its Beta phase, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama teases a new partnership and “even some surprises.”

On the Flipside
- The ShibArmy.VIP project does not come from the official SHIB developer team. The dev previously managed a Shiba Inu news site and launched SHIB Dream NFTs.
- However, the unofficial project wishes to join both Shibarium and SHIB: The Metaverse in the future.
